Does HeyScreen actually see my screen?
Yes — when you trigger HeyScreen (Option+Space or "Hey!"), it captures a snapshot of your current screen and sends it to our AI. Your screen is never recorded passively or stored after the session ends.
What languages does it support?
English, Spanish, and Hindi are fully supported today. You can mix languages freely — say "hey, translate this and reply en español" and it just works. More languages are coming in the next update.
Is my screen data private?
Yes — and you control it. Choose On-device only (nothing leaves your device), Hybrid (personal info stripped on-device before sending), or Full Cloud. Screens are processed in real time, never stored or used for training, and HeyScreen only ever looks when you ask it to.
How is this different from Microsoft Copilot Vision?
Copilot Vision can see your screen and explain it, but it stops at observing and guiding. HeyScreen actually acts — it sends the reply, adds the note, books the task — runs on Anthropic's Claude, works in any browser on any app, and gives you privacy modes Copilot Vision doesn't.
Can I use it hands-free?
Yes. Trigger HeyScreen with a hotkey or your voice, then just talk — by voice or text — in English, Spanish, or Hindi. It's a conversation, not a command line, so you can follow up naturally and it keeps the context.
What counts as one "hey"?
Each time you send a message to HeyScreen — with or without a screenshot — counts as one use. Follow-up messages in the same conversation each count separately.
Do you offer a student discount?
Yes — students get 30% off any paid plan. Just verify with your school email (e.g. you@university.edu, or a recognized .ac / university address) inside the app, and the discount is applied automatically at checkout.
What if I run out of heys before the month ends?
You can buy extra heys anytime — packs start at $4.99 for 200. Extra heys never expire, roll over month to month, and are only used once your monthly plan allowance runs out.
Can I use HeyScreen on mobile?
The current web app works on desktop browsers. A native iOS and Android app with voice wake word ("hey") and automatic screen capture is in development — join the waitlist and you'll be first.
What AI model powers HeyScreen?
HeyScreen runs on Claude Sonnet by Anthropic — a state-of-the-art multimodal model that understands both text and images. This is what lets it genuinely "see" your screen.
